SPLIT CHAIN

Split Chain are a Bristol band whose sound combines the hazy guitar layers of shoegaze and grunge with the weight of nu-metal and post-hardcore.

Their debut album motionblur moves from dreamy, almost submerged passages into huge riffs, anguished vocals and choruses that stay with you, with clear nods to Deftones and early-2000s alternative heavy music. Beneath the dense sound, the songs deal with personal struggles, recovery and the pressure of trying to find your place, giving the album an emotional core beyond its obvious heaviness.

Split Chain bring a modern alternative sound to Revolution Rising that can shift from atmospheric to explosive in a matter of moments.
